Pacific Group Tau'olunga

Several students from Room 8 are in the Pacific Group. The girls learned the beginning of a Tau'olunga dance from Moli, a relative of Miss Harris. She was visiting from Tonga and performed the whole Tau'olunga which tells a story about her village. They performed at assembly yesterday.
Malama was a fantastic leader of the group. Faufaua!

  1. Good evening Room 8.
Malama, you did a super job of leading the dance.
The great of you did a great job as well. It was beautiful watching you move your hands in such a delicate way. You should all be so proud of yourselves. I look forward to seeing the whole dance further down the track. Could you catch up with me at school and tell me the story behind this dance?. I look forward to hearing from you.
